It is now, literally, the end of the day.
And at the end of the day, just as at the beginning of the day, and at every other point on any given day's time line, there are few clichés I loathe more than "at the end of the day".
Much like the oft misused 'literally' it is only employed when it is not, in fact, indicated: "You know, at the end of the day, we just want to get this sucker up and running by Christmas." Right. So, not at the end of the day. By Christmas. Bah!
That's all for now, 'cause at the end of the day I really shouldn't be getting my own dander up.
